Anyone ever been to Crown Hill Cemetry? The highest point in Indianapolis is there.

James Whitcomb Riley is buried at the highest point along with 2 other shrines to people I don't know. The view of downtown is unmatched!

I took some great pictures from that perch high above the city (and around the grounds too). Here are a few of the shots.

Yeah you should go. If you need directions, let me know.

The Riley Grave is WAAAY up high on a hill, the highest point in Indy. The views from that spot are spectacular and worth the trip, especially this time of year!

I will have tell Amanda about J.W.R's grave she has been to his home when she was in the 3rd grade. His house was HUGE and very nice. take some time and read his poem "LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE" it's a good Halloween poem.

Tell Amanda to have Mamaw read her Little Orphan Annie.

She used to read it to me when I was a little kid and I loved the way she read it.

Amanda can resite it at least she did when she was in the 3rd grade. They had to memorize it for that field trip. She may still know parts or all I don't know we would have to ask her.
