Some day I'll have an uber cool, ultra modern, sleek house and when I do, I'm so going to have this fireplace! It burns ethanol fuel, doesn't create soot or smoke and doesn't need a chimney. In other words, it ROCKS!

To all my beer drinkin' cousins. I want you to save your beer cans and make me some beer can butterflies. Thanks!
Can't figure out why you're packin' on the pounds?

Uh, perhaps it's those Snickers Pancakes you like to eat on Saturday mornings. I don't know...just a guess.
Here's a blog that shows us all the stuff that packs on pounds, in image form. Check it out:

Have you seen the newly designed penny? No? There are 4 new versions of the penny - a coin I think is well deserving of a redesign if I do say so myself!! All are involving Abraham Lincoln. Why? These new Lincoln pennies are redesigned in recognition of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth and the 100th anniversary of the first issuance of the Lincoln cent.
Check em out! We already got one in our change so be on the lookout coin lovers!!

Since I became Greek, I really feel like I need one of these Greek coffee cups - inspired by our beloved Greek restaurants. Who's gonna buy it for me? It's only $14.00 bucks!

You can buy it here http://www.blueribbongeneralstore.net/804-p-Kitchen.html

New words have been added to the Merriam Webster Dictionary. Sorry folks, they aren't new and improved cuss words or anything you haven't already said (well maybe one or two of them are). The words are:
- Locavore (one who eats foods grown locally)
- Frenemy (someone who acts like a friend but is really an enemy)
- Waterboarding (an interrogation technique use to induce the sensation of drowning)
- Vlogs (a blog that contains video material)
- Webisode (a TV show that can be viewed at a Web site)
- Flash mob (a group of people summoned electronically to a designated spot at a specified time to perform an indicated action before dispersing)
- Green-collar (involving actions for protecting the natural environment)
- Sock puppet (false online identity used for deceptive purposes)
- Staycation (a vacation where you stay at home)

June 25, 2009 - The day music changed forever with the passing of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I don't remember music when Michael wasn't in it. I loved Michael, despite all of his idiosyncrasies and accusations, I always loved Michael for the true talent and entertainer that he was. I know I'll miss Michael but I'm so glad I have all this great music to keep him alive in my memory forever.
Thank you Michael!!
