Waiting on the World to Change
An Update on Ivan Stevens
America's Little Superman

The little boy that broke my heart, and then repaired it all at the same time will be featured on 20/20 this Friday night @ 10pm. ABC is running a story updating viewers on how a TV show that only lasts a few hours can change someone's life forever.
Be sure to tune in and see how a little help from a lot of people can make the world of difference.

Went to the Forest Park in Noblesville this past weekend to eat some KFC with my sweethearty and snap a few last "peak season" shots around the park.
I'm totally going to miss fall - I've had so much fun traveling around takin pictures here and there. I'm sure we'll get a blast or two of winter to excite my picture takin' mind. Just one or two great big ol blizzards would work for me. I've got spring, summer and fall, now all I need is winter! Bring it on Ol Man Winter!!
Oh enough talk about snow, here's what I got:

Now....I'm thinking about printing these as Christmas gifts in collage form. What do you guys think? Do people want pictures of fall leaves? Here's what the collage would look like in 11x17.

Are you sick of me taking pictures of fall yet? I'm sorry! I can't help myself. Oh, don't worry, it's almost over....I'll sure miss all the beautiful colors.
With this picture, all I can think of is that old Kansas song....
Dust in the Wind.... but in this case, I keep changing the lyrics to:
Dust in the Wind.... but in this case, I keep changing the lyrics to:
"All we are is ducks in the mist"
I couldn't resist, I had to stop on the way to work and snap the following pictures. The lake was so still and quiet, with that little lingering mist floating above. I hope heaven is like this!

We had our first frost of the season this morning. As I drove to work, the lakes and ponds had a foggy mist raising from them. It created a great scene for some new fall pictures. Can anyone think of anything better than fall in Indiana? I love it!
Duckies on a Foggy Lake

And here they are again.....
I love how the fog is separating the reflection of the trees in the lake

Hope it's frosty again tomorrow!!

Rich found this HP Printer that accepts email via a phone line for people who don't have a computer. We think Meemo would love to get email from people like Marc, Carla, Dick G in Wi., and all of us if she just would sit down and learn to use a computer. However, we know she won't - she won't take time to learn how to use her DVD player.
So what better!?! A printer that accepts email! All we have to do is hook it up, set up a Presto email address for her and tell the printer what time to download email messages for her every day. She literally doesn't have to do anything except walk in the room to get her print outs. The printer logs on via the phone line, downloads the messages at a time we designate and they are waiting on the printer for her whenever she wants to read them.
I KNOW Meemo would say...."Oh I don't need that" but I'm sure she would love to get email from all of us all the time - espeically those of us not great at calling her on a regular basis. She would love to talk to Marc, Carla and Dick more often but doesn't want to call long distance and they don't seem to do it very often from Mom's cell phone.
My bet is, she'd love it!!
I found it for $119.00 online and then internet access is $99.00 a year. I thought the family could go it on it together and split the cost. The more people we get to go in on it, the less it costs us individually.
Whatta ya think?

This is pretty cool.
Pick out a handmade card,
fill in the form
and it will be sent to a soldier
serving in Iraq.
AND, it's free!
